For one the gem beset in the ring isn't just any normal one, but a large blue diamond that glimmers like the ocean. Second it's nested in even smaller diamonds, though it manages to do so without being overly showy (even though Seraphina had wanted him to add even more). Finally the ring itself isn't just made of regular gold either, but rose gold because flowers were important to their relationship which was Lieze's suggestion.
Just from a quick look at the ring it's clear it cost him way too much (like all of his savings but he doesn't care), but Killia wouldn't settle for anything less. He had wanted something that almost matched how beautiful Mikazuki was, and this came damn close.]
